Horse/Human Instruction to Better the Relationship With Your Horse

Tool Prices / Course Fees:
Connection Kit:
For my course, I strongly encourage you to purchase the "Connection Kit" listed below which lists some of the tools I use when playing with my horses. The types of tools I use have proven to be the best I have found as far as ease of communication is concerned.  These tools are made of a special material, and/or are of a particular design that will allow you to, especially in the beginning, communicate with a horse much more efficiently than with similar items found in your local tack store or typical  horse gear catalog.  If I could find something as effective, but at a lower cost,  I would recommend it.  I have not, so I cannot.  I do not make a profit off of any of these items to show that my sole motive is to see that you have the best chance for success with your horse by starting with the right equipment.

Course and Lesson Fees:

My course consists of ten lessons broken up into three sections.  Each lesson will last at least one hour and often longer.  To be successful it is imperative that the student set aside time in between lessons to do the homework as specified in the handouts.  These handouts have check boxes on them for the student to complete so that the student can track their own progress and so that I can track how effective I am with my instruction for a particular student.  In an ideal situation the course will run approximately 10 weeks, but may last longer depending on how much time the student is able to devote to the homework as well as how they and their horse are able to progress.  All horses and people learn at different paces so it will take the time that it takes.  While the lessons and homework are written down on paper, supplemental lessons and other adjustments (phone calls, e-mails, etc.) to fit individual circumstances and learning paces can, of course, be made.

If initially purchased in it's entirety, the course fee is $400.00

If purchased individually, the fee per lesson is $45.00 (X 10 = $450.00)

Additional Costs:
If I will be traveling an excessive distance to your location an additional cost for driving time may have to be charged.  This will be worked out on an individual basis.

Supplemental lessons (those lessons that may be needed in between regular lessons) will cost $30.00 per hour with a $10.00 minimum, plus any travel/ mileage.  The student must be reasonably competent with the tasks of each regular lesson before proceeding to the next regular lesson, which is why I offer the supplemental lessons.  Before a supplemental lesson is scheduled, the student should contact me to see if I can offer any phone or e-mail coaching to help get past a particular problem.  There is no charge to the student for my help via phone or e-mail.

These fees are for the riding season of 2010.   If you shop around, I'm sure that you will find that my fees are VERY reasonable.

Final Word:
I know of no instruction such as mine that includes natural horsemanship principles along with the close support around which I have designed my course.  Many other trainers/coaches may only teach you what to do, whereas I also teach you how to be.  While the goal of any business is to make money, a very close second for me is to help others improve their relationship with their horses and thus improve their horsemanship skills.  It will be a lifelong endeavor for you, but this is a fine place to start.
